Date Info:
Mesa Temple Easter Pageant

Location: Mesa, AZ- Runs 10 days before Easter annually

The Easter Pageant is one fantastic and free date/family activity the two weeks before Easter. If you’ve never heard of it, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints puts this show on with all volunteer actors and makes it free to the public. There are English, Spanish, and ASL shows. It takes place in Mesa, AZ at the Mormon temple. But you don’t have to be a Mormon to go, it’s open to the public.
It’s even more fun when you go with friends
(and isn’t Tia the cutest prego ever?)
We also love to get there early and bring a picnic dinner
Takeout pizza with pizza box open.
You’ll know you’re in the right place because the stage looks like this

And if you go, you’ll see the story of Christ’s life acted on stage in about an hour presentation. This includes The Last Supper

 Gethsemane
Scenes from the Mormon Easter Pageant.
Judas betraying Christ, and his trial.

 The Crucifixion

The rejoicing of Christ’s Atoning sacrifice being completed

And the Resurrection.

It is incredibly well done! It’s something all Christians look forward to every Easter season. If you want to go, there are more details HERE. It’s worth it, I promise!

I saw it last year when I was in Arizona for Easter, Liesl and Sam and I went because their aunt and uncle Lori and Jay and son Scott were in it. It was so so good! 🙂
