If the embroidered trend wants to stay forever, I’m completely okay with that! I feel like every dress I see, every shirt, and now every jacket with embroidery somehow makes its way into my cart, and I just can’t get enough of it this spring! We won’t mention that I hoarded all the pieces last time this was a trend and still have several in my closet. What can I say, It’s pretty, it’s effortless, and it allows for simple statement pieces that don’t need layers, and it works well year-round, but particularly for Spring.

One of my favorite things to do when picking up spring dresses is to think long-term with the dress beyond the trend and beyond the moment. I’m a pastel fan even if my skin tone prefers darker shades, but if I buy too much of it, my wardrobe ends of feeling too much like spring and way less universal. When I find a good solid bright, I love to stop and think about the implications of that piece. This red-orange labeled “Hot Tamale” by the brand is one that feels like spring with flowers, will be a fun bright all summer, and I can pair with a jacket for the fall and look the part in all seasons. When I pair that idea with the fact that there’s a 50% off promo happening right now and it’s under $23, but then there’s another 30% off it, so it’s really hard to beat! But even if you aren’t a bright fan, there’s a black version too!

And can we mention universally flattering a-line style with comfortable waist elastic and a belt to emphasize any waist or even lack-there-of of waist included? I feel thin, it’s breezy and comfortable for warmer temps, and I love that I can think of so many ways to style it even without layers! Who thought a little toughness of a leather choker and animal print heels would go so well with floral? Calling all moms who want to feel a little bad-A in your daily wear, this dress has your back. That is until a pastel sweater and floral flats join the mix. A versatile piece that’s fun, on-trend, the right price, and super flattering for the win!
