The Perfect Summer Bell Sleeved T

I can’t get enough of the bell sleeved trend right now. It’s like the universe rewarded all pear-shaped people with a fun detail to further balance hips and add a point of interest. Aside from pear-shaped people, it’s a fun add-on that gives a little update to the classic pieces I have on repeat namely plain white and blue blouses and my trusty navy and white striped t’s. When I found this gingham striped combo I had to jump on it quickly, and apparently, I wasn’t the only one because it’s sold two places and one of those two has sold out within a week of launching!

I’m not shocked it’s moving so fast, it’s under $30 right now with this week’s sale, it’s so comfortable, it’s machine washable, and it looks like a dress shirt with the comfort of a tee-shirt.

I love my summer date night looks to be a single piece I don’t have to wear layers with and to still be a fun stand-alone piece all on its own. If I can machine wash the inevitable sweat that comes from 118 degree days, even better! This just fits the bill for comfort and style, and it’s going to be a go-to all summer long.

I’m also surprisingly digging jeans with some rips and styling right now. I’m typically one to go for investment pieces that I know will last, but ripped knees haven’t gone anywhere in a long time, and I’m learning they are another way to add some style to your outfit. Instead of being a canvas for the top and shoes to take the spotlight, they add one more point of interest and style that are making even my most boring outfits feel fun. I’ve had these jeans on repeat since I acquired them, and I know I’ll cling to them until it really heats up. But even then, there’s built-in ventilation, so one more reason to love them.

I’m pretty sure this is my new go-to top for dates, and I can’t wait to see all the places it gets to accompany me to!

  1. Yes! Love the bell sleeve trend! And when the sleeves are shorter like this you don’t have to worry about them getting in your food at meal time 馃檪
