Pink Jeans: Trends and How to Pull Off a Color You Didn’t Think You Could Wear

Who else is loving the pink jeans trend? From dusty rose to pink taupe, all shades are just a pretty romantic soft pink that pairs well with everything and adds a fun mix-up to your standard jean look.

A year ago I would have shied away from this trend, I know my skin-tone and often the pretty pinks and pretty yellows just don’t work with my slightly olive complexion. But something amazing happens when you become good friends with a color stylist, Reachel Bagley of Cardigan Empire taught me I could pull these colors off, but I would need to wear them away from my face, meaning on the bottom in pants, skirts, shorts, shoes, or in this lovely trend’s case, a pair of jeans. The pretty pink on the bottom with an olive green vest does just the trick and makes a color and fun jean trend something I can pull off. In fact, anyone can pull it off, you just need to pair your pink jeans with the right top for your skin tone and body.

I’m also a sucker for the cut, these are the boyfriend skinny cut, and they truly are the best of both worlds. They are soft and comfortable with a good amount of stretch and are very forgiving on curves. But, they are still lean and skinny cut, so they hug the right places. I can wear these on days I feel fantastic, and days I could use a little more give. I also love that they run big, so sizing down at least one size is recommended.
