Guys, we’re doing it, we have the 11 hour flight booked and we’re less than a month away from our big Spain trip! We’re already wondering if this will be a wonderful or dreaded experience with an infant.

Flight aside, I’ve been searching online for travel tips, and I’ve come across a few cool products that have me scratching my head wondering if it’s something we’d really use. When I was asked to share the gb Pockit Stroller product it was up my alley with our trip and our research- I’d literally been looking at it, so I agreed and thought I’d get readers thoughts and opinions too!

Check this out, it literally fits in a bag!

It unfolds to be a full sized stroller.

Now if only we were a family of models to look this good in a picture…

We’re debating between a stroller, a baby carrier, or alternating between the two- and compact and lightweight are musts for either option! So tell us experts, have you traveled with an infant? Which works best? Is this the type of product we should head to Babies ‘R’ Us and snag?

Keep in mind – I am much older or I should say my children are all over 20 and I travelled internationally with 3 at once. The fact that it's compact and light makes it a worthwhile option; that means it won't have to be checked separately. If it's sturdy, this would be a win-win. But I would have the carrier just in case. Don't travel overseas with a portable playpen – it's way too bulky even though its portable. The biggest concern is the flight, since the baby will be on one of your laps.

We (The Wilky Ways) recently travelled to the US from the UK and back with 2 young kids. We could have done with a stroller like this!

  3. We took our then-6-month-old to Japan for two weeks last September and had both a Beco Gemini carrier and an umbrella stroller (only the carrier went on the plane with us – my in-laws were living in Tokyo at the time and borrowed a stroller for us). I think you should have both, but if you only take one, do the carrier. The stroller will have to be left behind at some places, and nothing like wearing a baby to soothe any fussiness. Also, I love Spain and Portugal! I spent a semester in Spain back in college, and that country will always have my heart!
