Two ingredients friends- cookies and ice cream. Nothing against chocolate cookies with vanilla ice cream, but we love to mix it up with a variety of cookies and ice cream flavors. Tonight’s indulgence was peanut butter cookies and DREYER’s SLOW CHURNED® ice cream in classic Vanilla Bean and Rocky Road.
I love that DREYER’s SLOW CHURNED® ice cream taste just as good as any ice cream, but they have 1/2 the fat and 1/3rd fewer calories than regular ice cream, so I feel less guilty when I eat two ice cream sandwiches! I love that we can pick them up at Safeway on a Saturday grocery run and have an impressive dessert in less than five minutes.
To make these babies grab your favorite cookies and match them up in a pairs with cookies that are close to the same size.
One large scoop of ice cream is all it takes, place it as centered as you can on the first cookie.
Add the second cookie and squish it together until the ice cream meets the edges of the cookies.
That’s it! Be sure to make it with at least two flavors so you can decide if you’re more of a classic vanilla or adventurous Rocky Road type.
