Our Next Big Adventure
I’m so excited to announce our next big international trip is booked- and we are so excited to head back to Europe!
We will be spending time in Spain in the coming months, possibly Portugal, and we need your advice! If you’ve been, what was your favorite thing to see? What should we eat? What should we do? Any advice for international travel with an infant! We’re all ears!
Pinch me, I can’t believe this is happening and I’m so excited I can hardly stand it!

How fun!! I've never been to Europe, so I don't have any advice to give. But I'm trying to go this year!
Yay! So exciting!!
Spain is awesome. I was in Barcelona last month, beautiful city. I wish I had time to visit other towns especially the smaller ones (maybe next time). But from my experience in Barcelona you cant go wrong with Spain it is great country. I loved my time there.
SPAIN! I loved Spain! Definitely take a day trip to Segovia… it's one of my favorite places in the world. So beautiful it almost feels like you've stepped into a fairytale. I wrote about on my blog (‘http://brightlybeautifulblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Spain) but it looks like some of the pictures have disappeared, darn it. I have a lot more suggestions too if you want them! 😉
Love your blog! We went to Valencia and Barcelona with our 6 month old daughter two years ago. It was so great! We were only in Valencia a few days. I loved the City of Arts and Sciences and surrounding park. We rented apartments in both locations which were so great! If you stay that way keep in mind they don't have dryers–they air dry. Barcelona was beautiful, we stayed there for a week. I loved seeing all the buildings and the park that Antoni Gaudi built. They are so beautiful and unique. Las Ramblas was fun to explore and the La Boqueria Market had amazing dried fruit. Pickpockets are rampant. My wallet was stolen on the metro. Travelling with our little one was a piece of cake. On the plane we had the middle seats and in front of us was a bassinet for her to sleep in. While sightseeing we either carried her in the ergo body carrier (she napped it in) or a fold up umbrella stroller. One day I was in line at the Picasso Museum and my daughter and I were ushered to the front of the line! Loved it!
Ask Elisabeth from Bella the Blog about traveling with an infant. Granted, her baby isn't an infant anymore, but she's in Europe right now with him!
