The Business Cards of Alt Summit 2014

Be Sure to Pin This Idea!

I’m excited to share my experience attending Alt Summit in Salt Lake City with you this week! For those who don’t know, Alt is a blog conference. Wait, let me start that again, Alt is THE blog conference! It’s five years old now, and growing in reputation with amazing attendees and presenters.
Throughout this week I’m excited to share with you my five favorite things from Alt.
#1: The Business Cards
I swear bloggers have completely revived the boring business card bringing excitement, beauty, and most of all creativity to this form of contact!
I absolutely love networking in my professional life, but meeting like minded creatives in the blogging land was something that really excited me. Having a piece of them to stay in contact with is just amazing.

I loved seeing themes and patterns in the cards.

You can never go wrong with classic black and white.

I loved the artist cards that gave away a piece of who they are.

A little embellishment goes a long way!

And there were the cards that were so much more than cards!

The photo themed cards crisply printed were gorgeous.

And bright colors are so refreshing on a card!

But I loved seeing the pretty pastel too, something often missing in the traditional business world.

I can hardly wait to reconnect with all these amazing people I met, and I’m so glad for the tradition of creative business cards that happen at each Alt Summit!

I always used to find business cards stupid and boring. They used to have very simple outlines with no colors. But as the days passed by, they have improved a lot. Now I'm also planning to order some for my company
