Cache County 4th of July Events

We’ve had the pleasure of escaping our Arizona heat and heading to Cache County for the 4th of July the past three years. We always try to leave Arizona for the 4th of July, and often attend the small town parade in Eagar, Arizona. But a family reunion, a year of lockdown where we escaped to live in Utah while working remote, and lucky timing this year, meant Cache County again. I’m not complaining one bit! It’s been a fantastic place to be! 

And since we’ve been asked quite a bit about this area, I thought it would be fun to share some Cache County 4th of July events and why it’s a great place to come celebrate! 

The 4th of July in Logan 

The cities and towns take turns putting on big holiday celebrations. Logan usually goes bigger for the 24th of July, a Utah holiday celebrating Mormon pioneers. However, there are still a few amazing things to do on the 3rd of July. 

• Ride in Car Show 
• Fairgrounds Outdoor Concert 
• Fireworks on the 3rd at Aggie Stadium 

  Check out the Parks and Rec site for specific times and locations 

4th of July Hyrum Utah 

Hyrum takes the 4th (or the 5th if the 4th is on a Sunday) as its big holiday. There’s a lot of fun to be had in this samll town!

• Pancake Breakfast 
• Hyrum Rodeo 
• 4th of July Kid’s Parade 
• 4th of July 5k and Kid Race 
• Firework Show

Let me give the disclaimer this is by no means an exhaustive list, or every town in Cache County, Utah. But these are the cities that put on regular events for their area and all the visiting cities. These are the events we’ve attended or considered attending while spending time in Logan, Utah. 

And if I have to pick, I’d say the parades and the firework shows are must-dos. But every events is well down, welcoming, and happy to have visitors! 

So if you need someplace a little cooler with a lot of patriotism and celebration on and around July 4th, Cache County is a great place to be!
