  • Ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauces for Dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Open crescent rolls and lay sheets flat on a cutting board.
  3. Press together the seams of the dough so there are no triangles and the dough is in a long rectangle shape. You should have two long rectangles per package.
  4. Use a pizza cutter or knife and cut thin 1/2" strips from the dough to use as the mummy wraps. They should be thin strips, just thin enough to layer like bandages.
  5. Wrap your hot dogs like a mummy!

  6. Place on a baking sheet. Bake according to the crescent roll package. For most, this is 9-11 minutes. The goal is to have the crescent dough turn a golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, and place two candy eyes strategically to look like a mummy. If they aren't staying well, you can use ketchup (or your favorite sauce) to help them stick. Alternatively, you can cut small slits in the hot dog or press into the baked dough to help them stay put.

Notes

* You can also use ketchup for the eyes! Two small red dots work perfectly!
