I spent last week at Alt Summit, a conference for creative entrepreneurs, namely those who blog or use a blog to sell their products/business. It’s a conference I’ve been to six times now, so clearly one I really enjoy and love. I went one year where media guru Key Kawasaki spoke (one of my business heroes) and he said he only agreed to speak if he could bring his young daughter. He wanted her to go see a conference with a bunch of business leaders who are women. I thought I loved Guy before, but that moment made me even more of a fangirl than I thought possible.
The Best Flowy Non-Maternity Maternity Dress
I love that a lot of people go all out and really dress up for this conference, but it’s totally fine if that’s not your thing either. Being pregnant, that often imposes some challenges getting dressed. I wanted to feel at place in the bright, fun environment. But I also want to be comfortable at the stage of pregnancy I’m in. I also love finding the best flowy, non-maternity maternity dresses to wear when I’m pregnant.
Amazon to the rescue! I knew I’d find the perfect flowy dress that I could have shipped in only two days to my house!
Long Flowy Maternity Dress
This dress isn’t maternity, but with the flowy nature and the tie back, I knew it would work for anyone of any size. I also love that it comes in the prettiest blush pink and emerald green too. Purple is one of those colors you’re supposed to go for when you have green eyes. But it’s one I rarely do, so I decided this was a great chance to fit it in. And I’m glad I did! It is such a pretty shade, it’s so comfortable, and did I mention how much I love the back details?
It accommodated the bump so well, and I’m confident it will throughout my pregnancy and long after I give birth too. Bless those universally flatter cuts! And also the bonus adjustable back for making me feel so confident that this dress would work for me and will work for just about any body type!
I got so many compliments this day of the conference! For a conference known to host a bunch of stylists and fashion bloggers, that is really saying something!
Not to mention if you need to jump on a unicorn float in the middle of a pool full clothed, this dress just seems to match whimsy perfectly! Clearly one of those common problems we all encounter in life (wink).
