When it’s cold outside sometimes you just need an activity for kids that’s easy, educational, and doesn’t take longer to set up than the time it takes kids to enjoy it. While kids may be spending more time stuck inside, you may need something fun to help them pass the time. Don’t worry, we have you covered!
As a parent, I know one of the easiest ways to spread some winter fun is with an I Spy Worksheet that keeps kids busy for hours! I have loved watching my son practice counting skills and sorting skills. Those are important elementary and preschool learning skills! And this winter I SPY helps him practice these skills without knowing he’s actually doing something educational.

And do you know what’s also fun, the bonus of all the quiet time! This is one activity that keeps kids working and playing for about 30 minutes! Naturally, I was sold in less than a minute! What mom can’t use another 30-60 minutes of screen-free quiet time for their kids?
WHEN’S A GOOD TIME TO USE A Winter I SPY?
I’d say almost any time is a great time! But it’s fantastic to help hyper-excited children calm down. If you need a quiet time moment, kids can easily enjoy it in their room or at the table while you get some needed work done. If you’re home for a snow day, or just feeling some cabin fever, it’s an excellent time to print one!
